California Family Life Center

We started 2024 off strong with a presentation given by our director Samantha Thornsberry at the California Family Life Center on Missing/Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP). We are honored to collaborate and educate Native and Non-Native partners in our services area!

All System Go!

CCVAP has adopted a new advocacy time management program (VELA) to help us with case management, demographic reporting, and keeping track of grant-specific workflow. A huge thank you to our Victim Services Manager, Joseph, for all his hard work in helping us launch this new platform!

New Staff & Space

CCVAP warmly welcomes Nina , our newest Sexual Assault advocate, to the team! Nina holds a Master’s in Psychology focusing on systems of racism, sexism, and discrimination. Her work centers around Indigenous advocacy and allyship.

Anu joins our team as the new Outreach, Prevention, and Education Coordinator. She has a background in education with a Master’s in Teaching with focus on cultural competency and experience working with at-risk youth.

CCVAP is so excited to announce the opening of our brand new resiliency center in Hemet! This space will be dedicated to hosting outreach events as well as therapy and therapeutic activities.
